I have been painting for over 20 years, a journey that began in the landscapes of Colorado and evolved through the vibrant coastlines of Southern California. As a youth, I was naturally drawn to artistic expression, and it was during my adult years that I refined my skills through private oil painting lessons in a California studio. This foundational experience sparked a passion for capturing the essence of nature.

My chosen medium is oil paint, through which I explore the interplay of light and shadow across a range of subjects, from serene coastal scenes to evocative portraits. After relocating to New England, my artistic focus shifted to reflect the changing landscapes around me, finding inspiration in the dynamic, ever-shifting light that defines the region’s character.
